Managing your OnZoom Host account
Hosting accounts can be managed by hosting companies from the Manage tab of the OnZoom website. It contains information about the host, billing information, and cancellation policy, as well as detailed reports for the event.

- Zoom desktop client
- Windows: 5.6.3 or higher

- Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education account
How to manage your Host Profile
You can manage your Host Profile by following these steps:
- You will need to sign in to OnZoom.
- Click the Manage button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Then click Host Profile under the navigation menu.
The following settings can be viewed and edited as follows:- Profile Picture:
- Click on Change to upload a new picture to update your profile picture.
- Host Name:
- You may enter a name that you wish to appear for your events and profile. Zoom will use the name that is specified on your profile by default.
- Host Description:
- This section is for you to describe who you are and what you do.
Note: - The description can be up to 350 characters.
- Contact Email:
- Enter your new email address when you click on Change. A verification code will be sent to this address.
- Public Profile URL:
- You can only view the Public Profile URL after it has been submitted, as it cannot be changed.
Note: - Your Public Profile URL cannot be changed after it has been submitted. You cannot use special characters, symbols, or spaces in your Public Profile URL.
- Host Media:
- It is possible to add YouTube videos to your Host profile to attract more attendees to your events and enhance your profile.
Note: - You are allowed to add up to three videos.
- To add a YouTube video, paste the YouTube URL that you would like to use in the YouTube URL box.
- If you would like to add another YouTube video, click + Add VideoYou can connect with your Attendees in even more ways by adding links to your website and social media. in even more ways. Publish your Twitter, LinkedIn, and website URLs.
- Press Save.
How to manage your billing information
Link a PayPal business account
Notes:
- For event hosts who want to link their PayPal accounts to only one OnZoom account, it is highly recommended that they do so.
As long as you are planning to charge for tickets to your event, you will need to make sure that your PayPal business account is integrated with your website so that you can accept payments from attendees and receive payouts for your event. - As soon as you create your first event, you will have the opportunity to set up this during the setup process.
You can link your PayPal business account by following these steps:
- OnZoom requires you to sign into your account.
- You will find the Manage link in the top right corner of your screen.
- Then click Billing Information from the navigation menu.
- (Optional) To the right of the PayPal option, click the Link beside Payment Method for Selling Tickets.
Using PayPal Express Checkout, attendees will be able to pay using their PayPal accounts (with the PayPal Express checkout feature) or with their credit cards through PayPal when they purchase tickets.
Note: - To change the options, you will have to unlink your PayPal business account if this option wasn’t enabled before you linked your PayPal business account.
- After you’re redirected to the PayPal site, follow the prompts to link your existing or create a new PayPal business account.
- You will be asked to supply your address information under Your Address.
- Click Save.
Unlink a PayPal business account
If you wish to unlink your PayPal business account, please follow these steps:
- Log into OnZoom by clicking the link below.
- Click Manage in the top right corner of the page.
- Navigate to the Billing Information section on the left side of the page.
- You need to click Unlink to the right of the PayPal option, under Payment Method for Selling Tickets.
- You must login to PayPal in the new window.
- The Zoom Video Communications (Event Marketplace OnZoom) check box needs to be selected.
- You will be asked if you wish to revoke the account.
Set your cancellation policy
In order to set up your default cancellation policy, you can choose to apply it to single or drop-in events as well as event series.
Note
An event’s cancellation policy can be modified when the event is created.
Set your cancellation policy as follows:
- OnZoom requires you to sign in.
- To manage your account, click Manage at the top right.
- Click Cancellation Policy in the navigation panel.
- Set the following cancellation policy under Single and Drop-in Tickets:
- On the event page, you’ll see the following options:
- Cancellations made 1 hour before the start of the event will result in a full refund
- No ticket cancellations will be accepted, Attendee can request refund later
- On the event page, you’ll see the following options:
- The course cancellation policy can be set in the Series Ticket Cancellation Policy section as follows:
- Select a refund policy that will be displayed on your event page:
- Those attending the series can cancel their tickets for a full refund at least one hour before the start of the series
- No ticket cancellations will be accepted, Attendee can request refund later
- Select a refund policy that will be displayed on your event page:
- Click Save.
How to view Event Summary
You can view statistics for your upcoming events and the events you have hosted in the Event Summary section of your Host account. Your ticket sales, gross income, and the approximate hourly rate you have earned for your events are included in this calculation.
You can access the Event Summary section by clicking the following link:
- Join OnZoom by signing in.
- At the top right corner of the screen, click Manage.
- Select Event Summary from the menu on the left hand side.
In the Summary section, you will be able to see your event statistics, including the following:
- Favorites:
- This is a list of events that are favorites of yours.
- Total Tickets Sold:
- Includes refunded tickets but not all tickets sold.
- Total Gross Income:
- Includes all ticket sales, less refunds but not all tickets sold.
- Total Meeting Minutes:
- This refers to the total amount of time you have spent hosting meetings.
- Host Rate:
- The total ticket sales revenue of past events plus the total meeting minutes of past events equals the event Host rate per hour over a lifetime.
- Published Events:
- All events that have been published by you on this page. The list excludes events that have been canceled.
There is a section called Top Events that displays your events that have earned the highest gross income.
In the Tickets section, you will find a comparison of paid versus free and one-time versus series tickets for your events.
