Manually Install the Cisco Webex Content Sharing Extension for Google Chrome

Install the Cisco Webex Content Sharing for Google Chrome using the manual installation method. Use the Cisco Webex Meetings app to participate in meetings directly from within your browser, and share content while doing so.

1 Get the Cisco Webex Content Sharing extension for Google Chrome from the Chrome Web Store.

2 Download the Cisco_Webex_Content_Sharing_main_crx.zip file and save it to your desktop or another area that’s easily accessible.

3 Extract the zip file. The Cisco_Webex_Content_Sharing_main.crx file extension can be found in the folder after it has been unzipped.

4 Launch Chrome, create a new tab, and then press the Enter key after typing chrome://extensions into the Address Bar.

5 Refresh the website after turning on Developer mode in the upper right-hand corner of the Chrome Extensions tab. Developer mode may be found in the tab’s name.

6 To install the extension, navigate to the Chrome menu and drop the Cisco_Webex_Content_Sharing_main.crx file into the Extensions tab.

7 Click Add extension.
