It is important to keep in mind that the number of attendees you are allowed to attend the event depends on your Zoom Events license. Zoom Meetings licenses limit the maximum number of participants that may attend your Zoom Events, but this does not affect the number of tickets you are able to sell per Zoom Meeting.
Moreover, Zoom Events licenses have a session capacity of a certain amount and that is the amount of sessions that can be held during a Zoom Event. Depending on the license that an event host has, they may be able to have up to 1,000 attendees in their Webinar or Meeting session if they have a Zoom Events 1,000 license. Even if a Host has a Zoom Events license which is greater than 1,000, a Meeting session has a maximum capacity of 1,000 Attendees.
Zoom Events and Zoom Webinars licenses can be held by the same user at the sametheir webinar capacity will be limited by the larger license of Zoom Webinars or the larger license of Zoom Events that the user holds at the same time.
Ticket capacity is determined by all special roles and attendees that are participating in the event.
You must contact your account owner or admin if you wish to purchase a higher-capacity Zoom Events license in order to increase your maximum ticket capacity for an event.
There are two types of Zoom Events – single-session and conference – that each have a maximum number of attendees, which is 1,000 based on your Zoom Events license whereas the Meeting license allows for a maximum of 500 attendees. This will result in the same amount of event tickets for both Zoom Event types.
There is a difference between the Zoom Meeting license that allows for a capacity of 1,000 attendees and the Zoom Events license that allows for a capacity of 500you are only going to be able to sell 500 tickets if you have both types of Zoom Events licenses – single session and conference.
