In Microsoft Teams, you will be able to create teams as well as channels by following the following steps:
1. Create a team
A) For desktop
Step 1: Among the options you can find on the left hand side of the Teams app, on the left hand side, you will find the option that says “Join or create a team”, which you must select in order to continue your work.
Step 2: The next screen you will see will allow you to create a team by clicking on the button labeled “Create team”.
Step 3: This screen will allow you to make a choice between the following options:
From scratch, you will be able to build a team
Create a new group or team in Office 365 by importing an existing one
Using the “Create from…” option in Teams is an option that will allow you to add existing groups that you may have if your team previously used Office 365 before signing up for Teams.
Step 4: Defining who constitutes the team is the next step.
You should make your choice based on the following factors depending on how you intend to structure your platform:
Private: You should select this option if you only want a small number of members on the team.
Public: This is the best option for teams that have members that change frequently.
Org-Wide: If you are looking for a platform that allows your organization to share common information, as well as a way to divide departments into groups using channels, then this is the ideal platform for your organization.

Step 3: To add a new channel, you will need to click the “Add +” button on the left side of the screen. I would recommend naming the channel and adding a description if you feel that is necessary.
Step 4: As you can see, there are two ways to create a standard channel: either you tap the “Done” button, and then select “Standard”. If, however, you wish to create a private channel, you need to click on the “Privacy” button, select “Private,” then return to the original screen and tap “Done.”
Step 5: In case you choose to make your channel private, you will be brought automatically to the screen that allows you to add members. This is the stage where you are able to add members right now, or skip the step and add them later on when things are more convenient for you.
How To Set Up Video Conferencing in Microsoft Teams
In terms of video conferencing, Microsoft Teams provides an extremely simple and intuitive way of using the technology.
The following steps will guide you through the process:
A) For desktop
Step 1: If you open the Microsoft Teams app on your smartphone, you will be able to choose which team or channel you wish to host your video conference with.
In the compose box, hover your mouse over the small camera icon.

How to conduct Microsoft team interview?

A plan should be agreed on in advance as to who will ask what questions during the interview for the committee to avoid interruptions during the process.

A team can have a maximum of 200 channels added to it, including deleted channels, and the number of channels can be added only once. It is always possible to delete a channel from within the Microsoft teams admin center if it is not being used much as it should be. Although the chats within that channel will be deleted, the documents which were shared within that channel will still be kept in the modern SharePoint team site.
There will not be many teams listed when you start using Microsoft Teams for the first time. Be warned, however, once your sidebar’s team names are added, the number of the teams will increase as adoption increases. Likewise, the channels that are part of a team are subject to the same rules

How to add members to a team in Microsoft teams?
Adding someone to a team is something that you can do if you’re the team owner. The owner of the team has the right to approve or deny a request, even if you are not a part of the team. Only the owner can approve or deny the request.
- As the owner of a team, you can add members to your team by clicking More options > Add member… on the name of the team from the list of teams, which can be found under the Teams tab.
- Add your team members by typing their names, distribution lists, security groups, or Office 365 groups in order to add these people to your team. It is possible to add people outside of your organization as guests as well if you type in their email addresses as guests in the “Add Guest” box.
- The next step is to select Add once you have completed the process of adding members. On the left hand side, under the word Member, you will find a down arrow next to the word Owner. If you choose the down arrow, you can make someone the owner of the team. It is possible for a team to have more than one owner. - Please select the Close option. You will receive an email when people are added to a team informing them that they have been added to that team, and they will see the team in their list of teams.

Let me bring you back to the point – as I mentioned at the beginning of this post – because email is dead so let me bring you back to where I started – here will be demonstrated for you how easy it is for that salesperson to send an email to his channel.
Step 1 – Find out the Email address of your Microsoft Teams Channel : The email address of a MS Teams channel must be known in order for an Email to be forwarded or sent to that channel. In order to do this, you must locate the Channel you’d like to email and then locate the ellipsis and then choose the “Get Email Address” option that appears after you have located the Channel you’d like to email.
Step 2 – Make a copy of your Email address: Getting an email address is as easy as copying and pasting it once you’ve clicked on the “Get Email Address” button and then you’re all set to proceed.

- Change the settings of your Calendar by clicking the Edit button. Default settings will be inherited by the calendar by default from the Team settings. Teams channel security settings will be inherited by the Calendar in the same way as the Teams channel in Microsoft Teams. The person who wants to access the calendar needs to be added as a member of the team before they can gain access to the calendar. Sometimes, your team leader requires access to your team’s conversations, but he or she does not need access to your own conversations. We will be able to achieve this by stopping the inheritance of permissions.
- It is now time to add the permissions. Your organization will be able to access all of the contact information from your Office 365 account via this SharePoint site. It can be granted permission to any member with an email address within your organization using the email address of the member. There is no way for SharePoint calendars to be shared outside of the organization despite the fact that calendars can be shared within a company. Thanks to screen sharing, however, there is an easy solution to this problem. The screen share feature on your computer allows you to share the screen of your computer with everyone participating in the video conference so they can all see what you see on your screen. When you are ready to test out screen sharing on Microsoft Teams, take a look at this guide first before focusing on your presentation.
- As soon as you are prompted to sign in, please do so. Once you have done so, click on the button to join the meeting, and then enter the name of the meeting.
- In the box below the red “Leave” button there is a button that says “Share content”. Click on that button.
- Your screen will display a menu at the bottom of the screen. There are several buttons in the menu that you can click on. If you click on one of the images, you can select which image best represents what you are trying to share with others.
- You will be able to see the media on your screen as soon as you select it. If the media that is being shared on an Android device shows a red border around it, then you are most likely going to see a red border around that media. There will be a ribbon at the top of the screen that will display a few options you can select from, depending on what you select from the options that are displayed. You can hand over control of your screen to someone else by clicking on the button directly next to the “Give control” button. Instead, you can hide your screen by clicking on the button directly next to the “Give control” button. If you want to stop sharing your screen, you can click on the “Stop Presenting” button to stop sharing your screen with others.
- I want to mention in this step that you can still stop sharing your screen at any time if at some point you notice that the ribbon in the previous step has disappeared at some point in time. In order to open the Microsoft Teams window, you simply have to click on the Microsoft Teams app in the bottom corner of your screen, and then you will be taken to the Microsoft Teams website. The icon of a square with an X partially inside it appears in this window when you click the icon. The screen share will end once this button has been pressed.
