Nonverbal feedback and meeting reactions in zoom App
By enabling the Nonverbal feedback feature and Meeting reactions feature, meeting participants can add communication icons to their video panel and to their names in the participants panel. This is so as not to disrupt the discussion. In the video panel and beside your name, for example, selecting the Slow down icon indicates your name. This means the presenter needs to slow down.
The icons chosen by each participant are visible to everyone. As well, the host has the option to remove all nonverbal feedback and see how many participants are displaying each icon.
Yellow is the default skin tone for meeting reactions. Additionally, you can adjust your skin tone on Zoom’s Windows and Mac desktop clients.
There is a 10 second time limit on Emoji reactions, and nonverbal feedback such as Yes, No, Slow down, and Speed up will remain on the screen. These responses must be manually cleared by the host or participant.
Note:
Participants who do not sign in to a paid account’s meeting can use the meeting reactions of meetings that are not signed in and join the meeting.
