Optimizing a shared video clip in full screen in zoom App
Overview
A full screen video clip can be shared with Zoom to ensure the best quality for attendees. Find out more about screen sharing.
We recommend using the video share feature if a video file is stored locally on the computer since it will reduce CPU usage and provide better quality.
The following steps should only be followed if you are sharing a video clip via screen sharing. Please turn off full-screen video optimization if you are not sharing a video.
Prerequisites
- At least 1.5Mbps uplink and downlink for full screen HD
- Play video clip at full screen
Note:
Video resolutions below 1080p are recommended. To conserve bandwidth, Zoom downsamples content that is higher than 1080p, which increases CPU usage and results in poorer quality.
