Polycom end-of-sale models limitations in zoom App
Overview
The Zoom Phone does not support Polycom models manufactured prior to certain dates. The devices do not have a factory-installed certificate, thus preventing the device from authenticating its certificate, which results in registration failure. Polycom provides more information here.
Note: In order to use Zoom, you need to be running the latest UCS firmware version 4.0.0 on your Polycom device. The previous versions of Polycom SIP software (Polycom SIP software 3.x or earlier) do not work with Zoom when upgrading, registering, and provisioning from the phone’s web interface. There is an exception to this restriction for OBi ATAs.

Checking the manufacture date
To find the following label, look at your Polycom device’s back or base if you are using one of the models above. You are not able to use Zoom Phone with your device if:
- There is a reduction in the revision letter compared to the letter shown in the table; or
- It was manufactured prior to the date indicated in the table
It will look different on your device.
