Prevent AI Bots from Joining Webex Meetings
As an administrator of Webex, you have the ability to prohibit bots such as AI transcription services from entering Webex meetings by automatically barring email addresses from the service.
If the service that you wish to block isn’t on the list, you should contact Cisco support to see if they can add it to the list for you. You are need to give them with the email address associated with the bot. For additional details, please refer to the section titled “How Do I Get Help with Webex?”.
Control Hub
- Beginning in the customer view of https://admin.webex.com, navigate to Meeting, select Sites, and then pick Services.
- click the Webex site whose settings you want to edit, and then click the Configure Site option.
- Select Security from the drop-down menu located under Common Settings.
- Check the box next to the service that you want to be excluded from the Blocked email list under the Security Options menu.
5. Select Update

- After successfully logging in to the Webex Site Administration, navigate to Configuration > Common Site Settings > Options.
- Scroll down until you reach the section labeled Security Options, and then check the box next to the Blocked email list to add the service that you wish to block.
- Select Update from the Blocked Email List 3 menu.
