Provision Webex Go
Webex Go brings the capabilities of Webex Calling to the mobile phone of an end user. From a provisioning point of view, Webex Go is added as a device for a user, which may be done from the tab inside Control Hub labeled Users and Devices.
Webex Go Device to Be Assigned to User – Partner/Administrator
Add Webex Go Device from Users Tab
Prerequisites:
- Users are required to have a professional license for Webex Calling.
- The user needs to be in either the United States or the United Kingdom.
To assign a Webex Go device to a user from the Users tab in Control Hub, follow the instructions that are provided below. Watch this video to learn how to provide people access to Webex Go using the Control Hub.
- Go to the Users page by entering https://admin.webex.com from the customer view.
- Choose the User Account that you would want an activation code to be generated for.
- Click on Devices when you have scrolled down to that section.
- Choose to Add Webex Go Device from the menu.
- Choose the Subscription ID and Phone Number that you want to use for your Webex Go device from the respective drop-down lists on the Add Webex Go Device page.

- If there are several subscriptions associated with Webex Go licenses, select the Subscription ID from the drop-down menu.
- In the event that the user does not already have a primary number allocated, select the Phone Number.
6. Directly to the user’s inbox, an email with the activation code and instructions on how to activate the device is sent.

- After a period of ninety days, the activation code is no longer valid.
- You have the option to copy, email, or print the alphanumeric activation code, and then send it to the user. This can be done even if the organization settings are configured to suppress emails.
Add Webex Go Device from Devices Tab
Prerequisites:

If you want to add a Webex Go device to a user on the Devices tab in Control Hub, follow the steps that are listed below. Watch this video to learn how to provide people access to Webex Go using the Control Hub.
- Go to the Devices menu when you’re logged in as a customer at https://admin.webex.com.
- Simply select the Existing User option after clicking on the Add Device button.
- Click the Next button after you have finished looking for the person to whom you would like to assign the device.
- Choose your device to use with Webex Go.
- Directly to the user’s inbox, an email with the activation code and instructions on how to activate the device will be sent.

Bulk provisioning
In order to add Webex Go devices to a number of different users in Control Hub, follow the instructions below. Watch this video to learn how to provide people access to Webex Go using the Control Hub.
- You can get the template by going to Devices. Insert Hardware Import/Upload CSV file ↑ Download the CSV template in order to ensure that the Webex Go subscription information in the file is accurate.
- Include the list of users who require Webex Go to be provisioned on their accounts. Fill up the columns for the username, extension number, phone number, and location, and make sure that the device type is set to WEBEX_CALLING, the model column is set to Webex Go Device, and the Webex Go Subscription column is set to TRUE.
- Once complete, save your CSV file.
- Return to the screen where you add many devices at once, and then click the Import button to upload the CSV file.
- Before you click the submit button, make sure that the email activation code radio button has been selected. This will ensure that the end-user will receive an email with the activation code as well as instructions. When you are finished, please click the submit button.
