Provisioning a room system (enhanced) in zoom App
Starting January 18, 2021, new accounts with a Cloud Room Connector license will have access to the API Room Connector for SIP/H.323 devices. Before January 18, 2021, Cloud Room Connector (CRC) licenses should use our API Room Connector instructions.
An existing H.323/SIP room system can be integrated with Zoom. From your existing hardware, you can access Zoom meetings. If the room is configured with a Personal Meeting ID, it can also be used to start an instant meeting, or to join Zoom meetings that are not on the calendar.
How to install the API Connector
- Log in to Zoom’s web portal.
- To access Cisco/Polycom Rooms, select Room Management from the navigation panel.
- Click API Connectors.
- Click the Add API Connector button.
- Fill out the followiAPI Description: Describes the API connectorI connector
- The API connector can provision private network ranges of devices.
It is not possible to use overlapping IP ranges when creating multiple API Connectors.

- For a second API Connector, click Save & Create Another (optional)
- When finished, click Finish.
- Install the ZoomAPIConnector.msi installer by clicking Install.
- Click Finish.
- Enter the following information in the Customize this installation window:
- The Connector ID is copied from the API Connector page and pasted into the Connector ID field in the installer.
- On the API Connector page, you can copy a private key by clicking the private key field. Afterwards, the private key must be pasted into the Private Key field of the installer.
- Complete the installation by following the wizard.
By refreshing the API Connector page, verify that the Zoom API Connector service is running on the Windows machine. The ZoomAPIConnectorNws service must be running if the Connector does not appear online.
You must install Zoom API Connector software on a Windows Server or Virtual Machine that is always online and connected to the internet.
How to add a SIP/H.323 room
- Zoom can be accessed by logging in to the web portal.
- To access Cisco/Polycom Rooms, click Room Management in the navigation panel.
- Choose Rooms from the list.
- Click the Add Room button.
- Input the information below.
- System: System name.
- Endpoint: Select the endpoint type.
- The serial number is the hardware number.
- IP Address: The Room system‘s IP address.
- Device Username: The device administrator’s username.
- Admin Password: The password for the device administrator.
- Create another room by clicking Save & Create Another (optional).
- When finished, click Finish.
