Receptionist Client Place a Conference Call in webex
Your receptionist client will allow you to set up conference calls with multiple parties. You have the option of viewing participants in the conference call, removing a participant from the call as well as exiting the conference leaving others still connected after the conference call has begun.
Before you begin
Using the Calling User Portal, it is possible to access the receptionist. Check out the Sign In to the Dashboard article for more information on how to sign in.
- From either the dialer or the contacts pane, make a second call when on an active call.
- Click on the CONF button as soon as the call has been connected.
- Hovering over the specific call you want to remove from the conference and clicking the End button will allow you to remove that call from the conference.
- (Optional) To close the conference, you can use the Leave Conference button, but you will still be able to hear what the other parties are saying.
When you select one of the calls and then hover over the call to be added and click Conference, you can start a conference call that includes two calls that are already active.
