Receptionist Client Transfer a Call Directly to Voicemail in webex
In the Receptionist Client you have the option to transfer a call directly to a voicemail of a specific user without first calling them directly. The transfer of an unattended call directly to voicemail, for example, will prevent the caller from having to wait for an answer and will save the caller time.
Before you begin
Using the Calling User Portal, you can access the Receptionist. Visit the Sign In to the Dashboard page for instructions on how to sign in.
- Use the dialer to call the person you would like to transfer to while on an active call, or click the contact’s name while on an active call to contact them.
- The destination contact can be selected from the contacts pane.
- The contact can be selected by hovering over it and pressing the VM button.
If voice messaging is assigned to and enabled on the contact, then this option is available to them.
