Replace your Cisco Headset 500 Series ear pads in webex
An important aspect of your headset’s performance is the quality of its ear pads. As well as providing comfort and grip, they also enhance sound quality. Ear pads can lose their shape and the ear pads will eventually need to be replaced, but it is quite easy to do this.
Before you begin
The ear pads for your headset model should be the correct size so make sure you have them. There is no compatibility with Cisco Headset 520 Series or Cisco Headset 530 Series ear pads for Cisco Headset 560 Series ear pads.
- It is recommended that you rotate the old ear pad counter-clockwise.
- The old ear pads should be pulled out of the speaker as soon as possible so that it does not affect the speaker’s performance.
- Using your fingers, press the new ear pad towards the speaker until it sticks.
- After removing the old ear pad, rotate the new one clockwise.
