Reporting a compromised account in zoom app

If you think your Zoom account has been taken over by someone without your permission or that your account has been hacked, you can submit a request to Zoom’s Trust & Safety team in order to report the account takeover to Zoom. The Trust & Safety team at Zoom reviews each request, and after it has been confirmed that an account has been taken over, it takes action.

Note: Learn how to report fraud in your account if you have noticed fraudulent activity on it but still have the ability to log in. You can learn how to change your Zoom email address if you need to do so in order to maintain your account’s security.

How to report an account takeover or hacked Zoom account

1. Requests for Trust & Safety should be submitted using this form.

2. I would like to receive your email address and name.

3. Then, under the heading What can we help you with?, select Report Account Takeover.

4. You will need to enter your Zoom account email address in this field.

5. If you are not able to sign into your Zoom account at the moment, check if you can sign in.

6. If there have been any unauthorized changes made to the account of yours, you need to verify that it has been corrected.

7. If you believe that your email address has been compromised, please provide an alternative contact email address for us to contact you. This information includes your Zoom account number, email address, a description of what happened with your account, as well as your alternative contact phone number.

8. (Optional) If you would like to attach any documents, screenshots, or transcripts, please do so.

9. Click on the Send Code button after entering your email address.
   The email address that you provided will be used to send you a verification code.

10. Your email will contain a verification code that you need to enter.

11. The trust and safety team at Zoom will review the request once it is submitted by clicking Submit.
