Requiring a passcode for phone participants in zoom app
Account owners and admins have the option of requiring a passcode for participants wishing to attend their meetings via phone if they want to require one. Listed below the dial-in numbers and the meeting ID is the passcode which can be found in the invitation email. There will be a numeric version of the passcode generated for meetings that have an alphanumeric passcode. Only those participants who have been invited to the meeting are allowed access to the meeting, so confidentiality is guaranteed. Participants who join by phone will be required to enter a passcode if this setting is enabled, if the meeting requires a passcode to be entered by phone participants.
By disabling this setting, users will not need to enter a password in order to join via phone.

How to enable Require passcode for participants joining by phone
Account
All users in the account can be set to Require a passcode to join by phone by enabling or disabling following the steps below:

You will be able to sign into your Zoom account once you have logged in.

You can access account settings by clicking on the Account Management option in the navigation menu.

Click on the Meeting tab on the left side of the screen.

If you wish to enable or disable the requirement of a passcode for attendees joining by phone, click on the toggle switch under Security.

To make sure the change has been made, click Enable or Disable in the verification dialog box if it appears.

To make this setting compulsory for all users in your account, click the lock icon to make this setting mandatory, and then click Lock to confirm that you want to make this setting mandatory for all users.
Group
When you are setting up a user group of participants to require a passcode for those joining via phone, you need to do the following:

If you have the privilege to edit groups on the Zoom web portal, you must log in as an administrator.

Click on the User Management option in the navigation menu, followed by the Group Management option.

From the list of groups, select the name of the group that applies to you.

The Meeting tab will appear once you click on it.

If you wish to enable or disable the requirement of a passcode for attendees joining by phone, click on the toggle switch under Security.

To verify the change, a verification dialog will appear. Click Enable or Disable if a verification dialog appears.
Note: There may be a possibility that the option has been locked at the account level and you need to change it at that level if the option is grayed out. -
The user can make this setting compulsory for all members of the group by clicking the lock icon, and then clicking the Lock icon to confirm that this setting is mandatory.
User
It can be enabled or disabled for your own use to require a passcode for participants joining by phone:

The Zoom web portal can be accessed by signing in.

Click Settings from the menu at the top of the page.

To access the Meeting tab, click the Meeting button.

If you wish to enable or disable the requirement of a passcode for attendees joining by phone, click on the toggle switch under Security.

To verify the change, a verification dialog will appear. Click Enable or Disable if a verification dialog appears.
