Resolution of recorded video in Zoom App

Video resolution has a significant impact on the overall quality of the image that can be seen on the screen. The number of participants in your meeting and meeting settings can affect the recording of your meeting locally or in the cloud, as well as the number of attendees. If you have a local recording or a cloud recording, you may refer to the table provided for the resolution of the recording.

A shared screen will have the same video resolution as the largest screen that is shared if the screen is shared. 

In all cases, the video will be transmitted with a resolution of 1280 x 720p at a maximum. There is a possibility that the video will be resized to fit the entire recording frame, but this is not guaranteed.		A shared screen will have the same video resolution as the largest screen that is shared if the screen is shared. 

As long as the video is sent at a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720p, the quality will remain the same. However, the video will be resized so that it fills the entire screen of the recording device.

When the video on the camera is recorded with a resolution higher than that of the shared screen, the camera video on the shared screen will appear as black bars on the side of the screen as well.

Can Zoom recording 1920x1080?

How do I change the Zoom resolution on a recording?
As soon as you start a meeting, simply click on the small arrow next to your camera icon and select VIDEO SETTINGS. The last thing you want to do is make sure that ENABLE HD is selected under MY VIDEO. In order to record a meeting in HD (1280×720), you just need to enable a feature called HD recording. It is recommended that you record on this computer in order to get the highest quality recording possible.
Does Zoom record in 4K?
It is wise to consider that the regular recordings you receive from Zoom have 720p resolution and can go as high as 1080p, which gives you a better idea of how good the quality of the 4k recording will be. There are nine times as many pixels in a 4K resolution as there are in a 720p resolution.
Can Zoom record full HD?
Recordings in high definition (HD) are now available for your meetings, so when you play back a recorded meeting you will be able to see a crisper, clearer picture, as the recordings are recorded in high definition (HD). Navigate to the settings section of your account, then click video, then check the box next to “Enable HD,” and then click OK.
Can you change zoom video quality?
At the time of writing, Android does not have such an option available.
