Schedule a Webex meeting on behalf of another host
You can schedule meetings on behalf of another host if you have a Webex host account, as long as you are logged in to the same Webex site. In certain situations, it may be helpful for you to be able to manage someone else’s calendar or if the host is not able to schedule or initiate the meeting on his or her own due to a problem with their calendar, it may prove helpful to you.
There must have been an agreement signed by the person to whom a meeting is to be scheduled on their behalf, before another host can schedule meetings on their behalf.
Both you and the other host have the ability to modify a meeting that has been scheduled for another host.
- Go to the Webex site you are using and sign in.
- You will be able to schedule a meeting by selecting Schedule from the meeting scheduling page.
- Select the name of the host for whom the meeting is being scheduled in the Schedule for drop-down list.
- In order for you to be able to see the meeting scheduling option, the person whose meeting you are setting up needs to have granted authority for another person to schedule meetings on their behalf so that you will be able to see it.
- The meeting details should be entered here.
- The meeting can be scheduled for a later time by selecting Schedule.
