Schedule meetings for another host in Microsoft Exchange with the Webex Scheduler
You can use Webex Scheduler to schedule meetings on behalf of another host if you have a host account and they have given you scheduling permission to do so. From the preferences of Webex Scheduler, you can select the other host to schedule meetings for them to attend.
If you are using Outlook in Microsoft Exchange, then you will find that these instructions will assist you in scheduling meetings for another host. With Microsoft Outlook and a Microsoft 365 account, you can also set up and manage meetings for another host from Microsoft Outlook, as well as start and manage them with another host from Microsoft Outlook.
Before you begin
To schedule a meeting on someone else’s behalf, you need to follow these steps:

The version of Webex Scheduler that you use should be the same as the version that the actual host is using.

Check with the host to find out if they have given you permission to schedule an event through their Webex site.

In Webex Scheduler, you will need to log into your own Webex account.
- Create an appointment in Microsoft Outlook by selecting the Calendar icon on the left side of the screen.
- On the ribbon for appointments, click Webex Preferences.
- Please select the actual host from the drop-down list in the Schedule for section.
- (Optional) Choose the type of meeting and template you would like to use.
- Please click on the Add Webex Meeting button, followed by the Save & Close button.
