Search Persistent Chat Rooms in Webex Cisco Jabber
You may search the material in your Cisco Jabber persistent chat rooms by entering keywords, and you can refine your search even further by selecting certain players, room name, and date range options. This is useful if you need to find information in those rooms. In order for the search to be finished, you will need to become a member of the chat rooms.
Your search results will show a maximum of 200 items, arranged in chronological order and categorized according to the room in which they were found. You won’t be able to access older content until after you’ve joined the room.
1 Within the room, navigate to the Filters menu and pick it.
2 Within the search box, enter your search criteria in the same manner that you would search for contacts within the Cisco Jabber hub window.
In order to find messages that contain special characters, make sure to include other characters as part of the search criteria. For instance, if you are looking for!@ that also includes the phrase Jabber beside it, you would type!@ Jabber into the search bar.
3 To enter a room, right-click once on a result and then click again.

2 Either pick Search chat room messages and then select Enter to proceed to the chat room in the list, or select a new phrase to restrict your search and select Search again.
You have the ability to conduct a search for a particular chat room, and the results are arranged in alphabetical order.
1 Start in Rooms, then start tapping.
2 To locate a certain room, use the search bar.
