Sending an event-wide message in Zoom Events
It is possible for Zoom Events hosts to broadcast an important announcement to everyone who registered for an event (before, during, or after the event) if they have an important announcement to make. If you have an announcement you wish to broadcast before or after the event, you can do so using Zoom Events. Besides sending one event-wide message prior to and one event-wide message after an event, you can also send a message per occurrence in an event series. There are also two messages that you can send to all registrants before and after the event starts, so make sure you use this feature.

Prerequisites for sending an event-wide message to all registrants of a Zoom Event

How to send an event-wide message to a one-time event
In order to send a message to all attendees before the event begins, an event-wide message can be sent:

Zoom Events can be accessed by signing in.

To manage your account, click the Manage button in the top-right corner of your screen.

You can access the Events menu by clicking on the navigation bar.

To view upcoming events, click on the tab named Upcoming.

Click the ellipses to the right of the event that you want to send a message to and then locate the event that you wish to send a message to.

To send a message to registrants, click Send Message to Registrants.
Note: If you send an event-wide message to all registrants before the event begins, this option will not appear in the menu again once the message has been sent. -
Please write a message to your even
-
t’s registrants in the box provided for Message to your registrants.

Please click on the Send button.
The following steps should be taken in order to send a message to all registrants after the event has ended:

Zoom Events can be accessed by signing in.

To manage your account, click the Manage button in the top-right corner of your screen.

You can access the Events menu by clicking on the navigation bar.

In the Paste tab, click on the button.

Click the ellipses to the right of the event that you want to send a message to and then locate the event that you wish to send a message to.

You will need to click Send Post-Event Message to Registrants in order to send the message.
NOTE: When you send a general message to all registrants after an event has ended, this option will not be available again in the menu after the message has been sent to everyone in the event. -
Message to the registrants is the box where you can place a message for the registrants of your event.

Please click on the Send button.
How to send an event-wide message to a specific occurrence in an event series
Prior to the start of a particular event series, it is possible to send a general message to all the registrants for a particular occurrence in that series:

Zoom Events can be accessed by signing in.

To manage your account, click the Manage button in the top-right corner of your screen.

You can access the Events menu by clicking on the navigation bar.

To view upcoming events, click on the tab named Upcoming.

Click on the ellipses to the right of the event series where you wish to send a message, then find the event series where you wish to send the message.

In order to send a message to the registrants, click the Send Message button.

You can send a message to a specific occurrence by selecting it from the drop-down menu.
Note: Once you have sent a message to the registrants of the selected occurrence in the drop-down menu, that occurrence will not appear in the drop-down menu again. -
If you would like to send a message to an event’s registrants, write your message and click Send.
If you want to send a message after the event has ended to all the registered participants of a specific event series, then please do the following:

Zoom Events can be accessed by signing in.

To manage your account, click the Manage button in the top-right corner of your screen.

You can access the Events menu by clicking on the navigation bar.

Select the Paste tab from the menu.
-
Then locate the event series for which you wish to send a message, and click the ellipsis to the right of the event that you wish to send a message to.

Send a message to registrants after the event by clicking the Send Post-Event Message button.

You can send a message to a specific occurrence by selecting it from the drop-down menu.
Note: Once you have sent a message to the registrants of that occurrence, you will not be able to select that occurrence again in the drop-down menu. -
Click the Send button when you are finished writing your message to the event’s registrants.
