- The connection will now sound an alert if it is set to upload diagnostic information using user credentials obtained from Cisco.com for authentication purposes. We are going to stop using this method of upload authentication going forward. To ensure that diagnostic files may be successfully uploaded in the future, you will need to switch the authentication mechanism that you use for uploads to Customer eXperience Drive. See https://www.cisco.com/go/serviceability for more details.
- The connection has undergone maintenance in order to bring it up to date and ensure that it is compatible with the upcoming X12.6 edition of Cisco Expressway.

The Serviceability Connector has now been made available in its very first release.
The Cisco technical assistance personnel will be able to diagnose problems with your infrastructure more quickly thanks to this connector. It automates the tasks of discovering, retrieving, and storing diagnostic logs and information into a Service Request (SR), and it triggers analysis against diagnostic signatures. As a result, TAC is able to identify and repair problems with your on-premises equipment in a more timely and effective manner.
The Serviceability Connector is a small piece of software that is hosted on an Expressway on your network. This Expressway is referred to as the “connector host.” It employs the application programming interfaces (APIs) of your on-premises equipment to collect the needed data after receiving requests initiated by TAC via Cisco Webex. After that, it uploads the requested data in a safe manner to the SR file storage, where it is subsequently connected to your Service Request.

Serviceability Connector is compatible with the following electronic gadgets and tools:
