Error : “The domain xyz.com set in the cloud does not match any domain in your AD while using Directory Connector,” the error message said.
Cause: When performing initial setup or during an existing installation, selecting the incorrect domain (or performing installation on a server that is located in the incorrect domain) causes the error to occur. The issue will NOT be fixed by uninstalling the software and attempting to reinstall it to the correct domain. Because the metadata has been cached, the Directory Connector configuration data will continue to point to the old domain, which is wrong, and this will cause an error.
In order to rectify the situation, you will need to contact Cisco Support and ask that the old Directory Connector configuration be deleted. In addition to that, you will be required to send an email stating that you agree with the request to clear the data.
