Set up a daily huddle in a channel
In a brief time frame of two minutes or less, this tutorial aims to elucidate the process of utilizing a template to establish and personalize an automated huddle inside a designated channel. The purpose of an automated huddle is to ensure that all participants remain synchronized and well-informed.
Regular synchronization meetings can facilitate the dissemination of project updates and identification of obstacles among managers and team members. On a daily basis, at a certain time, Slack facilitates the process by generating a message within a designated channel, serving as a prompt for individuals to provide an update.
Please on with the task at hand.
- To begin the process, please direct your attention to the upper left corner of your desktop and proceed to click on the designated workspace name.
- To access the Workflow Builder, please navigate to the Tools section and hover over it. From the dropdown menu, pick the option labeled Workflow Builder.
- Please choose the option to create a workflow.
- To begin the process of sending a scheduled message, please navigate to the sidebar and locate the option labeled “Send a scheduled message template.” Once found, proceed by selecting the “Use template” button.
- Revise the template to establish a repetitive schedule with certain time and date parameters, personalize the message content according to individual preferences, and choose a preferred channel for transmitting the reminder.
- Please select the “Publish” option.
