Set Up Hybrid Services in webex
Your organization’s subscription to Cisco Webex Hybrid Services includes access to Cisco Webex Hybrid Services. With them, you can integrate Cisco Webex into any existing environment you already have. It is possible to extend functionality of your organization as well as your users through the use of these services.
As a Cisco Directory Connector user, you have already experienced the value of Hybrid Services if you have synchronized your users with Cisco Webex through Cisco Directory Connector.
It would be great if you were to continue providing your users with new features via Hybrid Services. As long as you already have an existing calendar environment that is supported by Cisco Webex, you can integrate them so that your users will be able to schedule meetings from anywhere. You do not need any plugins to do so. It is possible to integrate a Cisco calls control environment with Cisco Webex so that users can share their screens on regular calls and return missed calls via the Cisco Webex app if they have a Cisco calls control environment.
Several prerequisites need to be met before Hybrid Services can be set up, including the following. If you wish to see a list of these prerequisites, go to Settings > Services on the customer view of https://admin.webex.com, click on Hybrid, and then click View Prerequisites under any of the options for Hybrid. You can also find detailed instructions for each step of the deployment process in the Deployment Guides.
In addition to Cisco Webex encryption keys, it is possible to store them in your data center via Hybrid Data Security and keep the Cisco Webex meeting media and the Cisco Webex video in your own system by using Hybrid Media Service.
