Set up wireless LAN from your Cisco IP 8800 Series Multiplatform Phone-Webex
It’s possible that you’ll require the ability to disconnect the conference phone from the wired network connection while still maintaining your connection. This article can be used by administrators of networks to install these phones in a wireless local area network environment.
Establish a wireless LAN connection using the phone.
Wireless LAN connections are only supported by the Cisco IP Phone 8861 and 8865 models.
Make sure that the phone is not linked to Ethernet in any way. It must be powered by a separate power supply.
It is advised that users of Wi-Fi utilize a roaming strategy that is both quick and secure.
See the Cisco IP Phone 8800 Wireless LAN Deployment Guide for more in-depth information regarding the configuration of your device.
