Share an announcement during a Q&A session in Slido in webex
When you are hosting a Webex Meeting or Webex Webinar, send an announcement during the Q&A session to inform the participants about what information you have to share. During the Q&A panel, there is a message displayed at the top that anybody participating in the session can see.
Webex Meetings now support Slido in their meetings. In Webex Webinars version 41.9 and later sites, you can use Slido up to a 10,000 user limit with plans for up to 10,000 users. The number of attendees who can participate in Slido polls is up to 10,000, while the number of users who can participate in Slido quizzes is up to 5,000.
If you wish to display or save the announcement for later access, you can choose whether to show it immediately or later.
Before you begin
Ensure that the Q&A feature in Slido has been turned on.
- The second step is to click the Review button while you are in the middle of a meeting or webinar that is taking place.
- You can create an announcement by clicking Create announcement, and then typing in the message.
- The announcement can be sent immediately by clicking the Announce Nowa button.
Activate it later by clicking the Save button.
- Click on Stop announcement when you want to end the display of the announcement.
