How to allow users to invite a Room Connector Device to a meeting
In addition, we’re able to use SIP/H.323 devices to invite all of the users of the account to the meeting from their SIP/H.323 devices, if the account has a Cloud Room Connector license. In the event that you do not want certain users to be able to invite SIP/H.323 devices to their meetings, this setting can be disabled for certain user groups. If this feature is used, then only certain users will be able to use the CRC port.
Note:
The Group Management page on your Zoom account has been renamed to Groups if you created an account after August 21, 2021, or if your Zoom account is enabled for the New Admin Experience.
CRC can be enabled or disabled for a user group by:
- Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by logging in.
- Select User Management and then Group Management from the navigation panel.
- Next, click the Settings tab for the relevant group.
- Click Meetings.
- It is possible to allow or disable the option to invite a Room Connector device to a meeting on the In Meeting (Advanced) page.
How to enable Show H.323/SIP device list
The Show H.323/SIP device list setting is activated when a call is connected to a H.323 device, and when in a meeting participants can choose one of the rooms from the SIP/H.323 directory when calling out to the device. Unless otherwise specified, by default this option is enabled for all users. If necessary, you can disable this option only if it applies to a specific group of users.
