Starting Your Instant Meeting vs Scheduling a Meeting in zoom app
There are two types of meetings: Meetings that are scheduled and instant meetings.
It is possible to start an instant meeting instantly, and then invite other participants anytime you like. While in a chat with a contact or another channel, click the video camera with Meet with Video selected, or click New Meeting from the main dialog box.
Scheduling meetings allows you to schedule recurring or one-time meetings in the future. Schedule future meetings by either opening your calendar (or manually opening the calendar of any contacts) or by sending an email invite. Using these methods, you will be able to set up the time and date for your meeting and invite others to attend as well.
Scheduled meetings
A future meeting can either be scheduled as a one-time or a recurring event in the future. When it comes to scheduling a meeting, there are a few different ways to do so. The participants can be invited in advance whether they attend in person or via email. The invitation can be included in a calendar or emailed to all participants beforehand. Instant meetings
With these methods, you can easily start a meeting that is instantaneous. Whenever you want to join this meeting, you can do so by submitting an invitation to others and they can join it at any time. Your Personal Meeting ID can be used when you want to set up an instant meeting.
