Stream Webex meetings, webinars, or events to Facebook Live
Facebook Live allows you to stream from a Webex Meeting, Webex Webinar, or Webex Event (classic) to Facebook using a browser extension. With Webex controls, you can easily share your videos and content on social media, allowing you to connect with your audiences in a meaningful way.
Start streaming
You now have the opportunity to stream the content of your meetings, webinars, or events to Facebook as a host. While the meeting, webinar, or event is in progress, all streams will include the audio, video, and content relating to the meeting, webinar, or event.
Live streaming does not support whiteboarding, sharing files, and sharing videos. While streaming, you cannot share a whiteboard or share a file using Share File.
The functionality of your Webex meeting, webinar, or event will continue to be available even when you stream the meeting, webinar, or event to Facebook. Your stream can be started or stopped at any time, regardless of when it was started.
Your site administrator must have enabled Facebook Live streaming in order for you to stream.
Internet Explorer has been retired from support by Microsoft. Streaming Webex meetings, webinars, or events to Facebook Live may be required if you are using Internet Explorer as your primary web browser, using Microsoft Edge Chromium, and using Microsoft Edge WebView2 if you are using Microsoft Edge. You will need to install Edge Chrome first, you will then need to choose which WebView2 app to use, Evergreen recommends WebView2, and finally you will need to install WebView2.

What’s the difference between Webex meeting and Webex webinar?
Comparison of webinars versus in-person meetings
While video conferencing can provide a similar experience to webinars, webinars tend to have a more educational or instructional focus and usually operate on a one-to-many basis. While there can be a great deal of interaction between webinars and video conferences, video conferencing is typically referred to as regular meetings, discussions, or brainstorming sessions.

We offer the Webex Assistant for Webex Meetings as an add-on to all plans which support 3000 or more users, and it is included in all plans that support up to 1000 users.
