A list of certified desk phone features is shown in the following table.

Note: Analog telephone adapters and certified gateways are not covered by this article.

Prerequisites for using support desk phone features

• An assigned desk phone is provisioned

Note: Some desk phone features will not be available if your desk phone is set up as a common area phone.

Comparison of supported desk phone features by brand

Comparing certified models’ features is shown in the table below.

Legend:

• Model series name (for example, VVX): Except where the table states (partial) after the series name, all models in the series support the feature.

Notes for features with partial support

Admin password

To support the admin password on AudioCodes 445HD, 450HD, C450HD, the firmware needs to meet the following requirements:

• Version 3.4.6.565 or later for 445HD, 450HD, and C450HD

There is a setting for an Admin Password, but it is not applicable to these models:

• AudioCodes:
• 12MP112, 12MP114, 12MP118, 12MP124
• Using SIP-based devices
• that are CyberData SIP-enabled

Assisted provisioning

Algo:

Algo paging devices can be provided with assisted provisioning. At the time of this release, there are certain devices, such as the model 8180, which fail the assisted provisioning. Consequently, the model 8180 must be manually provisioned as an Other/Generic device while we work on finding a solution to this issue.

CyberData:

The CyberData paging devices are capable of being provisioned with assistance. In spite of this, some older product lines do not have the SSL device certificate support required for assisted provisioning (also known as auto-URL provisioning). For this reason, a manual provisioning process may still be required for products discontinued over at least two years ago. For more information, please contact CyberData support. CyberData devices that support assisted provisioning can be identified here.

Do not disturb (DND) status

If you have set the DND status to your phone, it will only apply to that one. Zoom’s desktop client and mobile app do not sync your status with other desk phones assigned to you.

Different manufacturers handle DND status differently:

• Poly:
• A visual notification will still appear on the screen, even though sound notifications are blocked.
• Yealink:
• No visual or audio notifications will be displayed on screen.

Call delegation and shared line groups

Call delegation and shared line groups are supported by the following phone models. Some models not on this list may be able to make and receive calls using a shared line, but the status of the shared line will not be displayed.

• AudioCodes:
• C450HD, 445HD, 450HD
• Poly:
• VVX 150/250/350/450, CCX 400/500/600/700
• Yealink:
• W56P, W60P, W80, W90 are not certified models, but W56P, W60P, W80, W90 are

Call flip

These models support call flipping:

• AudioCodes:
• F45HD, F450HD, F450HD
• Poly:
• The exceptions would be Edge B series, OBi302, OBi508, SoundPoint 335, SoundPoint 550, SoundPoint 650, SoundStation 5000, SoundStation 6000, Trio 8500, Trio 8800 that are not certified
• Yealink:
• The following certified models are not included in this certification list: CP920, CP960, W56P, W60P, W80, W90

In addition to the Poly and Yealink certified models, all other models also support call flipping.

Call park

These models are compatible with Call Park:

Call monitoring (listen, whisper, barge, take over)

These models support call monitoring:

• Except for Edge B series, VVX 101/150/201 models in the VVX series
• Yealink:
• Models with certifications except CP920, W56P, W60P, W80, W90

Call monitoring for call queues (listen, whisper, barge, take over)

These models support call queue monitoring:

• Yealink:
• The following releases were given: T27G, T31P, T31G, T33G, T42S, T46S, T48S, T43U, T46U, T53, T53W, T54W, T57W, T56A, T58A, VP59, T58W, T56P
• Requires the following software:
  • 69.85.3.11 or later version of T27G
  • The following versions (124.85.3.11 or later): T31G, T31P, T33G
  • (66.85.3.11 or later versions) T42S, T46S, T48S
  • (108.85.3.11 or later versions of T43U, T46U)
  • 96.85.3.12 or later versions of T53, T53W, T54W, and T57W

Call monitoring for shared line groups (listen, whisper, barge, take over, conference barge)

On these models, there is the possibility of monitoring calls for shared lines groups:

• Yealink:
• There are five T43U and six T46U, VP59, T58W, T42S, T46S, T48S, T27G, T31P, T31G, T33G, T53, T53W, T54W, T57W, T56A, T58A, T56A, T58A, T56A, T58A.
• The following requirements must be met by the software:
  • (108.85.3.15 or a subsequent version of T43U and T46U)
  • There are three versions of the T42S, T46S, and T48S (66.85.3.15 or later).
  • Version 69.85.3.15 (or later version) for the T27G.
  • It is advisable to use version 124.85.3.15 or newer when dealing with T31P, T31G, T33G
  • I recommend that you use the following versions of T53, T53W, T54W, and T57W (96.86.3.2 or later):
  • The following versions (58.85.3.14 or later) are compatible with T56A and T58A
  • Versions of VP59 (91.85.3.13 or later versions)
  • And T58W (150.86.3.4 or later versions)

Companion mode

These models support companion mode:

• Poly:
• 250/350/450 VVX
• Yealink:
• There are no certified models with the exception of CP920, W56P, W60P, W80, and W90

Company directory search

On these models, you can search the company directory:

• AudioCodes:
• C450HD, 445HD, 450HD
• Poly:
• Models in the CCX, VVX, Rove, and Trio series that are certified
  Note:
• There is no company directory search in the D230 DECT phone.
• Yealink:
• CP965 is the only uncertified model.

Notes:

• If the contacts directory does not appear, Zoom Phone admins must resync the desk phones. The desk phone can also be manually rebooted to sync.
• If you need help using the company directory, consult the Poly or Yealink quick start guides.
• Make sure to open port 390 for outbound traffic if the company directory search doesn’t work.

Emergency services location reporting

On these models, location reporting for emergency services is supported:

• AudioCodes:
• HD405HD, HD420HD, HD445. The C450HD.
• Poly:
• During the period between VVX101 and VVX201, VVX150, VVX201, VVX250, VVX301, VVX311, VVX350, VVX401, VVX411, VVX450, VVX501, VVX601
• Yealink:
• The CP925 (Handset), CP930W (Handset), CP960, CP965, T46U, T48S, T58W, VP59, W60P (W59R), and W70B (W53H) all work on this device.

Group call pickup

On these models, group calls can be picked up:

• AudioCodes:
• C450HD, C450HD, 445HD
• Poly:
• C450HD, C450HD, 445HD Poly: These models use firmware versions 6.4.1 or higher.
  There are a lot of VVX101s and VVX150s, VVX201s and VVX250s, VVX301s and VVX311, VVX350s, VVX401s and VVX411, VVX450s, VVX501s and VVX601s.
• Yealink:
• The CP920, CP960, T27G, T31G, T31P, T33G, T42S, T43U, T46S, T46U, T48S, T53, T53W, T54W, T56A, T57W, T58A, and VP59 all have corresponding RP 916 numbers

Hot desks

Hot desks can be used with the following models:

These models can be assigned to multiple users. They are known as distributed models.
There is a registry for multi-SIP extensions.

Desk phones that are assigned to a single phone user can be locked. On phones with multiple users and those located in common areas, screen lock is not supported.

  Note:

Transfer to voicemail

On these models, you can transfer to voicemail:
