Key Expansion Module Limitations

Both an audio recording (version A) and a video recording (version V) On compatible devices, Key Expansion Modules can be used interchangeably; however, there are some restrictions on their use.

  • Monitoring line overflow and manual long-press speed-dial assignment are two of the possible uses for key extension modules when they are attached to multiplatform phones.
  • The only kind of background images that are supported by key expansion modules that are attached to multiplatform phones are the default ones.
  • Key assignment is not possible because Webex Calling makes use of key expansion modules as an overflow solution. The line status will overflow to the key expansion module if an administrator assigns more monitored lines than the phone is able to handle. For further information, click here.
