Telemetry Data events processed by the Zoom client
A telemetry data is data collected from Zoom clients running on users’ devices that is intended to provide Zoom with information about how Zoom is used or performing (e.g., how the product is used and how the system is configured). There are similar structures used by Zoom to collect Telemetry Data. The client and operating system are mentioned in a few fields, along with the kind-and subtype of event that occurred, the location in the app that the event occurred, the time stamp of the event, and some pseudonymous identifiers such as the UUID, the userID, and the meeting_id. In addition to Telemetry Data, there is no Customer Content, no information about other users, meeting names, or other user-supplied values such as the name of the user’s profile.
