Test your microphone on Board and Desk Series in webex

Ensure that your microphone is working correctly and configured properly by testing it directly on your device.

Before beginning a meeting, test the microphone to determine if further configurations need to be made, such as removing noise from the microphone or optimizing the voice. The options available to you include recording yourself and playing that recording back, as well as enabling continuous testing.

Neither DX70 nor DX80 are capable of using this feature.

1. The control panel can be accessed by swiping right on the home screen.
2. You can select Test microphone from the Microphone menu.
3. By clicking on Start recording, you will be able to record yourself for as long as 5 seconds at a time. After you have finished editing the video, you can play it by pressing the Play button. After the recording has been made, you are able to change the way that noise removal is configured.
4. The recording loop can be toggled on and off by selecting Start recording. There will be a 3 second delay in the sound played back from the microphone, and it will be played continuously.
