The Webex App Crashes when Lavasoft Web Companion is Installed on a Windows PC
Cause :
This is a problem that is well-known. In the event that an older version of the Lavasoft Web Companion program is installed on the computer, the Webex app for Windows, along with a number of other apps, may become inoperable.
Solution:
To resolve this issue:
1 Remove Lavasoft Web Companion from your computer by uninstalling the software there.
2 Check to see if the file named LavasoftTcpService64.dll was removed from the following location:

- For 32-bit Windows: C:\WINDOWS\system32\LavasoftTcpService64.dll
- For 64-bit Windows: C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\LavasoftTcpService.dll
3 First, you need to restart your computer, and then you can open the Webex application.
