Can’t load an address into a new tab when you are trying to access a website? It happens occasionally if some sites are prevented from showing up in other sites even though they are able to be embedded into Teams web app.
There is a banner that appears when a page does not load correctly, stating If your page doesn’t load correctly, click here to solve it. If you would like to view the options there, you can click there.
As a result, you have three options available to you on the following page:
- You can open this site in the Teams desktop application by clicking on View the site in your desktop app, where you will probably be able to see the site.
- If you click the Go to the website button, a new browser tab will be opened outside of Teams that allows you to browse the site.
- You can try again by clicking the Reload this tab button.
Whenever you realize there is a problem when you are browsing the website, just click on the Reload tab located at the top right corner of the page as soon as you realize there is a problem. Whenever a tab that was functioning normally appears to be acting oddly, you should also hit Reload Tab.
We would recommend that if you are frequently running into this problem, you make sure you take a look at our desktop app, as these issues don’t usually appear in our desktop application.
