Toggle Name Labels On and Off on Your Room Device in webex
When you attend a meeting, do you have trouble memorizing all the names of the people who are present? You can put a name next to a face by using name labels.
As soon as you enter a meeting, you will be able to see the names of up to four people on the far end of the screen for the first 60 seconds. As soon as the active speaker starts speaking, their name appears for a short period of time on the screen.
If your organization has enabled name labels for your rooms, you can enable or disable it from the Touch 10 controller on the room device if name labels are enabled for your rooms. Turning off name labels will result in those labels not being sent during your next call if you have turned them off. In the event that name labels are available, you will receive them if they are available. In the event that the call ends, the name labels will automatically turn back on.
Name labels are not available in trans-coded conferences or on soft clients.
- It is possible to access the Settings menu by tapping on the device name on the home screen of the Touch 10 controller.
- To turn on and off the Face recognition name labels for your device, you need to tap the toggle button below the name labels.
