Troubleshooting joining meetings through Internet Explorer in zoom app
It is possible that some users may receive the following error message when attempting to join a meeting using Internet Explorer: Cannot proceed. There is a problem with the format of the application (Authenticode). It is possible to solve this problem by following these steps to add Zoom as a trusted site and allowing it to run whenever you join a meeting or webinar with Internet Explorer.
How to trust Authenticode components
The following steps can be tried to resolve the issue:

Click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.

Under the Tools menu, select the Internet Options option.

Go to the Security tab and click on it.

Make sure that you select trusted websites.

Click on the Custom Level button…

Make sure the Authenticode option is selected or you select Enable if the option is not available.

To apply, click the OK button.
How to add Zoom as a trusted site
Following the steps below, you will be able to add zoom.us to the list of Trusted sites:

Click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.

Under the Tools menu, select the Internet Options option.

Go to the Security tab and click on it.

Make sure you choose sites that are trustworthy.

Choose a site from the list.

There is an option to add zoom.us to the zone by typing it in.

Click on the Add button.

Click on the Close button.

To apply, select the OK button
