Troubleshooting the Webex App Launch Issues on Windows 10
Troubleshooting Webex App Launch Issues on Windows 10.
Unable to start the Webex app on Windows 10.
I’m unable to launch the Webex app on my PC.
Root Cause:
If you do not have the Webex application installed in the following locations, you may not be able to launch it:
-
C:\Program Files (x86)
To resolve this issue:
-
Restart the computer after uninstalling the Webex app and reinstalling it again.
-
I would suggest deleting the ‘launched.dat’ found under C:/Users/$user/AppData/Local/Programs/Cisco Spark at the following location.
-
Webex is an application that you need to install.
-
If you have made sure that the Cisco Spark folder has already been created in C:/Program Files (x86), then you can proceed as follows:
-
The Cisco Spark application can be launched if the folder Cisco Spark has been created in the C:/Program Files (x86) folder.
-
I would suggest moving the Cisco Spark folder from its current location to C:/Program Files (x86) if a Cisco Spark folder was not created at C:/Program Files (x86).
-
-
%USERPROFILE%/AppData/C:/Users/%USERPROFILE%/User Profile
The user name of the system should be replaced with %USERPROFILE% in the above code.
