Turn Off Post-Meeting Summary Emails on Your Webex Site

When a meeting has been recorded and ended, you can choose not to send a summary email to the hosts, so they don’t receive any reminders.

Control Hub

  1. Click Meeting in the left-hand menu of the admin section of https://admin.webex.com, then click Sites if you are viewing the customer view.
  2. You can change Webex site settings by selecting the site and clicking Configure Site.
  3. Select Email Template from the Common Settings menu.
  4. The Post-Meeting Host Content Notification email template can be found in the Existing Email Templates drop-down list.
  5. The HTML email body should not contain the parameter %ParticipantsSummary%.
  6. In the text email body, remove the parameter %ParticipantsSummaryTXT%.
  7. You can preview your template by clicking Preview HTML and then clicking Save.
  8. Each language should be modified according to the same procedure.

Site Administration

  1. You can access site administration by logging into your Webex site.
  2. You can find email templates under Configuration > Email.
  3. The Post-Meeting Host Content Notification email template can be found in the Existing Email Templates drop-down list.
  4. The HTML email body should not contain the parameter %ParticipantsSummary%.
  5. The text email body should no longer contain the parameter %ParticipantsSummaryTXT%.
  6. Once you have confirmed that the template looks as you expect, click Save to save it.
  7. Similarly, you must repeat the above procedure for each language that is supported so that the template can be modified the same way.
