Unable to Add a Meeting Appointment to iCal on a Mac- Webex
On a Mac, we are unable to add a new meeting appointment to the iCal calendar.
When attempting to add a Webex meeting to iCal on a Mac, you will see the error message “The server responded with an error.”
Using the iCal 5.x version causes the appointment to be removed from the calendar after it has been added.
The iCal calendar was cleared of previously scheduled events.
I am unable to import an.ICS file into iCal.

To add Webex events or meetings to your iCal calendar:
Method 1:
- You should save the.ICS file to the local hard disk on your computer.
- Open iCal.
- Simply transfer the.ICS file to iCal by dragging and dropping it.
Method 2:
- Download the file ending in.ICS, and then save it in a convenient yet temporary location.
- Hold down the Control key and click on the.ICS file.
- Simply select the Get Info link.
- Click the Open With button, and then select Calendar from the menu that appears.
- Choose to alter everything.
- To apply all of the changes, you will need to restart your Mac.
