Unable to Start / Join Meeting When Connected to Proxy on Safari Browser
How can I turn off a Proxy when using Safari as my web browser?
How exactly does one go about getting around Safari’s proxy settings?
When connected using a proxy server in Safari, neither starting nor joining a meeting is possible.
If you are connected to the meeting through a proxy, the starting process is stuck at the connecting step.
Solution:
To disable or circumvent the use of the proxy server in the Safari browser, follow the procedures below:
1. Select Preferences from the Safari menu, which may be found at the very top of the navigation bar.
2. Select the tab labeled “Advanced” in the menu.
3 Click the Change Settings button that’s located next to Proxies.
4. Make sure that none of the choices are checked in the box labeled “Select a protocol to configure,” and then click “Continue.”
5. Select the OK button.
6.Put an end to both the Network window and the Advanced window by closing both.
You might want to try to re-start the meeting or join it again.
