Understanding your invoice in zoom app
If your account is enrolled in a subscription, your invoice will include a detailed list of the products that are included in that subscription, as well as their quantity, price, and any taxes that may be applicable.
The following article will explain how to view your invoices in more detail, and will provide you with more information on how to do this.
Your invoice details
A top-left corner of your invoice will tell you everything about the invoice: the date it was generated (Invoice Date), the invoice number (always beginning with INV), your payment terms, the invoice due date, the account number, the currency of the account, the account name and address, along with your billing and sold to contact information and email addresses.
Note: Your invoice may include a billing contact name and a sold to contact name that could be different from the email address of the account owner or your signed-in email address.
Depending on your invoice, you will find information regarding remittances, PO numbers, and tax exemptions on the right side of the invoice. You can download Zoom’s W-9 form by clicking here.
Your products, their quantities, and prices can be found under the Charge Details section of your account. There will always be a Service Period associated with each product, which is the period over which a service charge will apply.
There will be a Total on your Invoice and subtotal (excluding tax), and a Balance on your Invoice which will reflect the total of your invoice, including tax. An invoice balance is a measure of how much is due on an invoice at the time it is issued.
Note: There will be a total listed in parentheses on your invoice, for example, Total (Including Tax) on invoice. It would be considered a credit if that amount were $1.00. In case you are on autopay, you will be able to automatically apply that credit to your next invoice. For you to apply the credit to an invoice, you will need to open a billing ticket with Net terms in order to do so.
You can view your item’s tax details under the Tax Details section of the product detail page in which you can see which of your products were charged tax, what type of tax it was, and how much it was.
If you have made a payment or a credit has been applied to an invoice, you will find a section called Transactions that appears at the bottom of the invoice after a payment has been made or a credit applied. Payments or credits made on behalf of this invoice will be displayed in this section, along with the date on which the transaction was made and the amount of the refund.
