Upload Custom Virtual Backgrounds To a Desk Pro – Webex
Each individual Cisco Webex Desk Pro in your organization can have its own custom virtual background loaded upon it if you choose to do so.
While you are on a call, you have the option of using a personalized image as the background. You have the ability to submit a maximum of three unique virtual backgrounds.
The following file formats are supported: BMP, GIF, JPEG, and PNG. There is currently no support for animated GIFs.
Maximum file size: 4MB
Choose your virtual backdrop from the options provided in the user interface. For further information, please refer to the Virtual Backgrounds section of Desk Pro.
Users are able to upload photographs to be used as the virtual background on devices that they have configured in personal mode. For further information, read the article entitled “Upload Custom Virtual Backgrounds to a Personal Mode Desk Pro.”
1 Go to the Devices section in the customer view on https://admin.webex.com, and then choose your device from there. Navigate to the Web Portal by going to Support.
If you have an administrator or integrator user setup, you will be able to log in to the local web interface of the device using your browser by going to http(s)://endpoint ip or hostname>.
2 Navigate to the “Setup” menu, then select “Personalization,” and select the “Virtual Backgrounds” option.
3 Simply by dragging and dropping an image file into one of the three available slots for the video backdrop, you can upload a new background image. You can also select a file from your local file system by clicking the Browse button.
Click the Replace button, then use the arrow buttons to search for and choose a new image file from your local file system. This will replace the selected image.
Simply clicking the Delete button will get rid of the background image. The video background will be completely removed from the device after this is done. If you wish to use it again, you are going to need to upload it once more.
