Use a Bluetooth Headset with Your Phone (8800 Series with Multiplatform Firmware) in webex
Bluetooth Headsets
Bluetooth headsets can be used to make calls if your phone supports that feature.
In order to make the most of your Bluetooth headset, keep these things in mind:
-
When one Bluetooth headset is attached to the phone, and another standard headset is attached to the phone, only one of these types of headsets is active at one time. In order to disable the other headset, you need to enable one first before you can use it.
-
Bluetooth and analog headsets are both disabled if you are using a USB headset. The Bluetooth or standard headset needs to be enabled if you unplug the USB headset for any reason.
-
When using your Bluetooth headset, you should be within 10 feet (3 meters) of your phone in order to have optimal headset coverage.
-
You are able to use Bluetooth Handsfree Profiles with your phone. You may be able to use your Bluetooth headset in the following ways if it supports these features:
-
Take a call and answer it
-
The call has been ended

In order to make a call, you need to adjust the headset volume
