520 Controller

It is easy to use the basic features of the phone through the inline USB controller.
Make and Answer Calls
A ringtone will be heard on your headset when you have an incoming call.
The inline controller can be operated by pressing the Call button.
Adjust Your Volume
On the inline controller, you can press Up or Down to move forward or backward.
End a Call
As soon as you hear a tone on your inline controller, hold the Call button.
Mute Yourself on a Call
The inline controller can be set to Mute by pressing the Mute button.
Reject a Call
On the inline controller, press the Call button twice.
Place a Call on Hold
On the inline controller, press the Call button once.
The headset will automatically answer any incoming calls if you have one.
560 Series
Cisco Headset 560 Controls
The ear cups of the Cisco Headsets 561 and 562 can be used to control the call control functions of the headset.
Turn Your Headset On and Off
- Keep your headset on Hold for four seconds after you answer the call. There is a tone that indicates that the headset is working correctly.
- There are a number of things you can do.

To turn on the headset again, hold the call for one second and then release it.

On the base of the headset, place the headset.

The headset should be placed on the base of the headset.

If you are using a headset, make sure to press Call twice.

Press the Call button on your headset while you are on a call.

Answer a Call From a Different Source
You should make sure that any active calls you may have are placed on hold or ended before switching from one source to another. As soon as you change sources on a multi-base network, active calls will not automatically be placed on hold.
Choose one of the following actions to take:

If you are using a headset, press the Call button.

The source button on the multibase must be pressed when an incoming call is detected.
As soon as you change sources on a multibase, active calls do not automatically go on hold. If you are switching sources, make sure you place any active calls on hold or end them before switching sources. In your headset, if you press the Call button, active calls are automatically put on hold.
