Using and preserving original sound in a meeting in zoom App
Zoom’s Original Sound feature allows you to preserve the sound from your microphone without using its echo cancellation and audio enhancement functions. You do not need this enhancement if your microphone or sound equipment already includes these features.
In the Zoom desktop client, after you enable the feature to preserve original sound, you can also enable:
- Zoom audio is optimized for highest quality in high fidelity music mode.
- Zoom’s echo cancellation algorithms minimize background noise. Default settings enable this feature.
- The default setting for stereo audio is to enable it to enhance your listening experience.
By enabling the feature to preserve original sound in the client, you can turn it on and off as needed during meetings.
Please refer to the sharing computer audio article if you need to share audio during screen sharing, either mono or stereo.
