Using SMS in Zoom
Using Zoom Phone SMS, you will be able to send, receive and reply to text messages (SMS) using either Zoom’s desktop client or Zoom’s mobile app. Using SMS with a call queue or automatic receptionist is also an option that you can consider.

The user will be able to receive SMS messages only if SMS is enabled by the administrator, otherwise they will not be able to

Note:-
It is not possible for users of extension-only phones to send SMS messages

You are able to send and receive SMS from any US or Canadian telephone number with the Zoom Phone Metered, Unlimited, or Pro Plan for domestic use

There may be charges associated with SMS when used with other calling plans

Direct phone number in the U.S. or Canada
It is only possible to send messages from US or Canadian phone numbers
SMS messages can be sent to international phone numbers through your admin if it has been enabled for this purpose
Zoom desktop client or mobile app, version 5.4.7 or higher
How to compose a new SMS message

Using Zoom Desktop or Zoom Mobile, you will be able to log in to your account.

To access the Phone tab, simply click or tap it.

The SMS tab can be accessed by clicking or tapping on it.
Note: Ensure that all of the prerequisites have been met if you are not seeing the SMS tab. -
Under the SMS tab, you will find a compose icon that you can click or tap.

It is possible to search through your contacts directory by entering a name or phone number at the top, or you can manually enter a phone number by entering it manually. The number of contacts / phone numbers you can add is up to ten.
There is no difference between the number and the name of the recipient if the recipient is already in your contacts directory, otherwise, the phone number will remain a phone number.
Note: To send a text to a contact whose phone number has multiple numbers, click the right arrow icon and then select the number you wish to send the text message to. -

How to reply to an existing SMS conversation

The Zoom desktop client or Zoom mobile app can be accessed by logging in.

To access the Phone tab, simply click or tap it.

The SMS tab can be accessed by clicking or tapping it.

An SMS conversation can be accessed by clicking or tapping on it.

How to use SMS features
It is possible to use the following features while writing a new SMS or replying to an existing conversation:
Send images (JPG, PNG, and GIF files)

Desktop client:

To select an image, click on the File button and then select the image you wish to use.

Enter a message to be sent along with the image if you wish.

You will need to press the Enter key in order to send the image.
You will be able to see more information about the image and the text in Zoom Phone if you have also entered a message. Depending on the SMS service that the other SMS participant is using, the chat bubbles may appear differently to them.

Mobile app:

The plus icon can be found by tapping the plus icon.

To send an image, tap the Photo Album icon on the left side of the screen.

Click on the Done button.

If you want to send a message with the image, you can type it in here (optional).

To send the image, you need to tap on the send icon on your device.
Zoom Phone will display the text and image you entered along with your message in a single chat bubble if you also entered a message. Depending on how their SMS service is set up, there may be separate chat bubbles for each participant.

Call the other SMS participant
On the top of the screen, there is a phone button that you can click or tap.
