Using the Docusign Notifications chatbot in Zoom
It is possible to receive notifications from Zoom’s DocuSign Chatbot in regards to the envelopes in DocuSign that you have created.
Prerequisites

You can sign up for a Zoom account for free or for a fee

It is necessary to have an administrator account for DocuSign

DocuSign chatbot pre-approval on Zoom Marketplace for the DocuSign chatbot
Note: Please contact your Zoom administrator if you do not have pre-approval for the app.
How to install and configure
Add the integration from the Zoom Marketplace

You will be able to access the Zoom Marketplace once you log in to your Zoom account.

You can find DocuSign by searching for it on the app store and clicking it.

You will need to contact your Zoom admin if the app is not pre-approved for your account. Please let them know you would like this app approved.

Then click on the Add button.

Confirm that you are authorized to give the app the permissions it requires.
Note: Zoom will automatically install the DocuSign Chatbot within the Zoom client if your administrator has already installed the DocuSign Chatbot.
Configuring the DocuSign chatbot

If you don’t already have a Docusign account, please sign up for one here.

Click on the Zoom Chat Channel that you wish to join, and then type /dsign connect.
The DocuSign chatbot will send you a 1:1 chat message as soon as it has connected with Zoom. In order to authorize the connection between DocuSign and Zoom, click on the link provided in the message. -
As soon as your envelopes have been authorized, the next step is to configure DucuSign Connect so that you receive updates on their status.

Activate the DocuSign 1:1 chat by going back to your Zoom chat and then clicking on it.
Your connection to the service has been successful. You can enable notifications by following the instructions in the message that you received. -
To configure Docusign Connect with custom configuration settings, click on Add Custom Configuration Settings.

In the Add Configuration window, click Custom, and then click OK.

Here is the information you need to enter:

Name: The Zoom DocuSign Chatbot (or the name of your choice)

URL to Publish (HTTPS required): https://nodebots.zoom.us/docusign/connect

Select the following options for Include:

Information about the time zone

In order to trigger a trigger event, follow these steps:

If you would like us to notify you about any events which you are interested in, please select them. There are a number of events that can be supported, including:

The following should be entered in the field Include Basic Authentication Header:

User Name: The username that was used during the 1:1 chat with DocuSign

Password: This is the password that was provided to you during the 1:1 DocuSign chat

The configuration can be saved by clicking Add at the bottom of the page.
Using the DocuSign chatbot
In order to interact with the DocuSign Chatbot, you will need to follow the following steps after you have configured the chatbot.
Available Commands
Help
For a detailed list of available commands for the DocuSign Chatbot, press /dsign help or help (in a 1:1 DocuSign chat) in order to get a list of available commands.
Connect
You will be able to connect your DocuSign account by typing /dsign connect or connecting (in the 1:1 DocuSign chat). You can disconnect your account by typing /dsign disconnect or disconnect (in the 1:1 chat window for DocuSign) if you want to disconnect it.
List
For a list of documents for an envelope that specifies a name or ID, you would type /dsign “envelopeName” list or list “envelopeID” (in a 1:1 chat with Docusign)
List all
There are two ways to list the top 5 envelopes and their documents: by typing /dsign list all or by typing list all (in the 1:1 Docusign chat).
How to remove the DocuSign Chatbot

The Zoom Marketplace can be accessed by logging into your Zoom account and selecting the Marketplace tab.

The first step to getting to your installed apps is to click Manage, then click Add Apps from the menu on the left.

If you want to remove DocuSign, click on the Remove button next to it.

Click the Remove button after you have confirmed the dialogue box.
Data security

As part of this app, Zoom provides the following information to this app:

A Zoom user’s account will allow you to view all groups that they have subscribed to.

Within the Zoom account, you will be able to view the details of existing meetings created by Zoom users.

You are able to view the details of a Zoom user under your Zoom account by clicking on the user’s name.

There are several pieces of information that this app can access on Docusign, including:

The envelopes you send and the recipients you receive.

We have read-only access to this information.

Zoom allows the following permissions to be granted to this chat application:

With this chat app, you will be able to chat with any Zoom user under your Zoom account or a channel on IM.

Any Zoom user under the Zoom account can use this chat app to create a Zoom meeting on behalf of them.

The Docusign API/OAuth tokens, as well as the Zoom OAuth credentials, are stored encrypted in a database that is accessible only to administrators.
