Using the MailChimp Notifications app in zoom app
Make sure you subscribe to MailChimp so that you can receive updates on your campaigns. Using MailChimp, you can automate your marketing campaigns in order to reach your target audience via email. Zoom Chat has added a MailChimp Notifications app to let you receive notifications about the performance of your campaigns from the MailChimp Notifications app.
Prerequisites for the MailChimp Notifications app

An account with MailChimp is required

Zoom App Marketplace has approved Mailchimp Notifications as an app for use with the chat app
Note: Your Zoom administrator will be able to assist you if the app has not been pre-approved.
How to install and configure MailChimp Notifications
Install from the Zoom App Marketplace

Log in with your Zoom account to access the Zoom App Marketplace.

Click on the Mailchimp app in the search results and search for it.

You can find MailChimp in the search box located at the top right of your screen if you enter the word MailChimp into it.

Click on the MailChimp Notifications app in your search results once you find it in the search results.
Note: It is recommended that you contact your Zoom administrator if the app is not pre-approved on your account in order to have it approved. -
In order to install the software, click on Visit Site.

Click on the Authorize button after you have confirmed the app permissions.
Link your MailChimp account
You will need to link your MailChimp account with the MailChimp Notifications app once you have downloaded it.

If you would like to share a link in your individual chat channel, please type the link command.
In order to link your MailChimp account with MailChimp, you will receive a URL in the mail. -

The API key you need to access MailChimp can be found on the page where you copy and paste it.

How to use the MailChimp chatbot
Use the chat commands
There are a number of commands you can use with MailChimp’s chatbot:

Help: The Mailchimp chatbot provides a list of all the commands for its users by simply typing /mailchimp help in the chat window.

Link your MailChimp account: To link your MailChimp account to your website, enter the /mailchimp link to open a page that will enable you to do so.

Connect MailChimp notifications to your channel: Adding MailChimp campaign performance updates to the channel that you are currently in can be done by typing /mailchimp connect [campaignId] while in the channel. A notification will be sent to you every day regarding the performance of that campaign.
Note: To see your campaignIds, use the /mailchimp campaigns URL. -
Disconnect MailChimp notifications from your channel: It is possible to turn off EmailChimp notifications for this channel by using the /mailchimp disconnect command. You should be aware that this will only be able to remove the notifications you subscribe to; notifications subscribed to by others will continue to appear.

See your current subscription: The mailing list for your current campaign can be found by typing /mailchimp connections into the address bar.

Start a Zoom meeting: You can start a Zoom meeting by typing the command /mailchimp meet.

See list of campaigns: You can view a list of your mailchimp campaigns by typing /mailchimp campaigns into the search box.

See the performance of a campaign: You can find out the performance of a campaign by typing /mailchimp performance [campaignId] in the address bar.
Note: You can check your campaign IDs by using the /mailchimp campaigns command.
How to uninstall the MailChimp Notifications chat app

Ensure that you are logged in as the administrator of your Zoom account in the Zoom App Marketplace.

Click on the Manage button at the top of the page, which can be found in the right corner.

Select the Add Apps option from the navigation menu at the top of the page.

To remove the Mailchimp Notification app, click on the Remove option next to it.

Click on the Remove button after you have confirmed the dialog box.
Data security
