There has been an update to Slack’s permissions for integrations recently. In order to set up the new granular permissions, you will need to follow the steps below if your organization already uses the Slack-Zoom integration and you would like to use it in order to set up the new granular permissions:
-
Zoom must be removed from all Slack workspaces by the administrator responsible for managing Slack workspaces.
-
It is then the responsibility of the Slack Workspace administrator to reinstall Zoom App into the workspaces.
-
The command ‘/zoom’ in the chat window will take you to the authorization page where you will be given instructions on how to proceed. It is important to note that only admins are required to perform the steps described above.
